Parents spend thousands of dollars every year to take there athletes to College Camps like USC, Tryouts like Perfect Game and Tournaments like Omaha NE or Marietta Georgia. The average cost of just those three alone is $4,500.00. Only to find out in Omaha the only schools that show up to see you are NAIA schools from the mid west that cannot offer money. The Georgia Tournament where there are college coaches but out of 150 Teams with 20 players, you better hope your son has some off the chart performance in front of everyone. Perfect game has you tryout to have a shot to make there Team only to find out that you really just paid $550.00 for the all amaericans to make the Team. Then you receive a flier in the mail from a college that wants you to come to there camp, surely they are intersted in you, only to find out your just putting offseason Summer or Christmas money in the pockets of the college coaches. You pay for the college camp hoping to gain exposure, and the coaches are never at the fields you play at during the summer. Finally the most you get out of 99% of most Travel Teams is Sunday games and Tournaments. The odds are you spend thousands and no one is telling you the truth about how to help you or Develop your athlete for the next level.
